MISSOULA, MONT - The Missoula Osprey received solid pitching once again against the Grand Junction Rockies, but the guests dialed long distance to come up with a rally and beat the home standing Osprey, 4-3, on Thursday here at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in front of 2,602 fans.

The Osprey (13-11) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third inning, thanks to RBI singles by Jake Lamb and Michael Perez, and a RBI fielder's choice by Evan Marzilli. However, the Rockies (11-13) would use three home runs, including one by Ben Waldrip in the top of the ninth inning off of Chase Stevens (1-2), to secure the win.

Missoula used a strong start by Yoimer Camacho to jump out to the lead. Camacho allowed just a run on four hits while striking out seven batters in five innings of work. Camacho, Patrick Smith and Stevens combined to strike out 14 Grand Junction batters on the night.

The game also featured a statistical oddity - neither pitching staff surrendered a walk during the contest. Smith, who worked 2 1/3 innings out of the Missoula bullpen, did hit a batter in the eighth - Julian Yan, who scored on Jose Briceno's two-run homer off of Smith that tied the game.

The Osprey had 10 hits in the game, including two each by Pedro Ruiz, Lamb and Perez. Ty Linton added a double, while Marzilli, Socrates Brito and John Leonard each singled for Missoula.

The Osprey and Rockies will conclude their three-game series on Friday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. The Osprey will send right-hander Jared Ray to the mound, while the Rockies will counter with right-hander Matt Carasiti.

Tickets are available now at the MSO Hub Box Office, located at 140 North Higgins in Downtown Missoula, online at MissoulaOsprey.com and by phone (406) 543-3300.
