Oshawa Generals Assistant Coach Paul McFarland Named Head Coach of the Kingston Frontenacs

Oshawa, Ontario - Oshawa Generals Governor and Owner, Rocco Tullio announced Tuesday that Oshawa Generals Assistant Coach, Paul McFarland has accepted the position of Head Coach for the Kingston Frontenac's of the Ontario Hockey League.

McFarland, a native of Richmond Hill, Ontario is coming off his 2nd season behind the bench as one of the Oshawa Generals assistant coaches.

"The Kingston Frontenac's had requested to speak to Paul regarding the vacant head coach position, I granted them permission and Paul was offered the position and accepted. The Oshawa Generals Hockey Club is very excited for Paul to take this next step in his coaching career. We have a great history of hiring great coaching talent and this is one of the risks you take when that great talent is hired. We wish Paul and his family all the best on their future endeavor's" said Oshawa Generals Governor and Owner, Rocco Tullio.
