Oshawa Generals Announce Street Fest in Partnership with the Oshawa BIA and Tribute Communities Centre

On September 29, the Oshawa Generals will be having their first home game of the season. The Oshawa Generals, in collaboration with the Downtown Oshawa BIA and the Tribute Communities Centre, is hosting a street festival before the game to celebrate our local team! Come down to Athol Street in front of the Tribute Centre to cheer on the Oshawa Generals as they prepare to face the Kingston Frontenacs. Meghan Wright, the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship of the Oshawa Generals, says she's excited to kick off the 2019-2020 hockey season with this event!

The Oshawa Generals' Street Fest is a free event in which the Oshawa community can come together to experience the downtown in a way that hasn't been seen here before! This event will have a variety of activities that will ensure there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Athol street between Mary and Albert will host live entertainment, and a beer garden - guests will be able to have a tailgate-like experience before the big game. The Street Fest will include different activities like a hockey shoot-out game, a rock-climbing wall, and even an opportunity to take a picture with the Memorial Cup! Hockey fans will not want to miss this exciting event.
