Oshawa Generals Acquire Hayden McCool from the Spitfires
October 17, 2017 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL) - Oshawa Generals News Release
Oshawa, ON- The Generals announced today they have acquired forward Hayden McCool from the Windsor Spitfires in exchange for a fourth round pick in 2020. McCool grew up in the Durham Region and is a 2017 Memorial Cup Champion with the Spitfires this past May.
"Hayden is going to bring a physical presence to our team. He was a member of a Memorial Cup winning team and he's now going to get the opportunity to play home town team. He's very excited about the opportunity and I think this is great for us to insert a bit of brawn into our lineup" said Vice President and General Manager, Roger Hunt.
The entire Generals organization would like to welcome Hayden home and to the Oshawa Generals organization. You can catch Hayden in the lineup when the Generals take the ice for 3 games this weekend against Ottawa, Kitchener and Barrie.
