
Orlando Pride Announces 2022 Preseason Opening Day Roster

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Pride began its 2022 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) preseason training on Tuesday morning, returning to the Orlando Health Training Ground at Sylvan Lake Park ahead of the side's seventh NWSL campaign.
Led by Head Coach Amanda Cromwell and her staff, the Pride begin 2022 with 29 players on their preseason roster, 15 of which return from a year ago. The complete preseason roster can be found below.
The third edition of the NWSL Challenge Cup is set to begin the weekend of March 19, with a 22-game regular season beginning in the weeks following. A complete breakdown of the 2022 competition framework can be found here.
Joining the Pride in 2022 are forward Darian Jenkins, who joined the Pride via trade with the Kansas City Current, along with defender Megan Montefusco who was acquired from Houston a week ago. Additionally, 2022 MAC Hermann Trophy finalist Mikayla Cluff has reported to Orlando after signing with the Pride following a run to the NCAA Championship in her final year at Brigham Young, along with 2022 NWSL Draft selections Caitlin Cosme, Julie Doyle and Jada Talley. The Club has also recently signed 2021 draft selection Kerry Abello to the team's supplemental roster.
