
Orlando City Kicks-Off Inaugural MLS Preseason with Fan Events

ORLANDO - January 23, 2015 - Orlando City Soccer Club today unveiled plans for various events throughout the City Beautiful during the Lions' preseason training, capping off with a week-long celebration for the Club's inaugural Major League Soccer (MLS) match against New York City FC on March 8 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Opening game tickets are included in admission to various events.
"With the long-anticipated launch of our MLS campaign rapidly approaching, we want all our fans to join us for preseason and the week-long events to commemorate this seminal moment for the City Beautiful and Orlando City," said Founder and President Phil Rawlins. "We will literally paint the city purple and create a party atmosphere unlike any before to show the team the wonderful level of support from its fans here in Orlando and throughout the region."
Starting Saturday, February 7, Orlando City will host the following events throughout Orlando:
February 7, 2015 - 5:00 p.m. ET: Open Practice at the Orlando Citrus Bowl (Free Admission)
Fans will have the opportunity to see Coach Adrian Heath run the team through drills and various exercises as they continue to prepare for the season opener.
The event will be free for fans, providing the opportunity for them to tailgate and enjoy special soccer-themed activities that evening. Season Ticket Members will receive instructions via email on how to redeem their free tickets which include exclusive access to a post-practice autograph session on field. Non-Season Ticket Members can register for free tickets on-line at OrlandoCitySC.com or Facebook.com/OrlandoCitySC/events.
ONLY Season Ticket Members will be granted access to the post-practice autograph session. Fans wishing to become 2015 Season Ticket Members can do so by calling 855-ORL-CITY, visiting OrlandoCitySC.com or purchase their season tickets at the practice session.
February 17, 2015 -11:30 a.m. ET: Orlando City Kickoff Tailgate Party ($60 per person)
Welcome the entire team to Orlando in this special event at the Hilton Orlando Altamonte Springs featuring Phil Rawlins, Adrian Heath and the entire Orlando City SC team. The event is produced by CFHLA and open to the public with tickets available at CFHLA.org/OCSC. Admission to the Tailgate includes a ticket to the inaugural match March 8.

Mar. 7 World's Largest Pub Crawl - Break the Guinness é World Record for the World's Largest Pub Crawl featuring the official OC Pubs: Wall Street Plaza, Elixer and Harry Buffalo. The night will end with a live concert! Ages 21+ only. Wall Street Plaza $30 includes opening game ticket
