Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC today announced that team captain, midfielder Kaká, will miss the season opener due to a thigh strain sustained during training this weekend. He is questionable for the Lions' next match against Chicago Fire on March 11.
"This is certainly a disappointment for the squad, especially given Ricky's outstanding performance during preseason," said Head Coach Adrian Heath. "That said, it seems like something from which he can recover soon. The team has trained hard all season and we are confident they will turn in a great performance with the support of a full house at the Citrus Bowl."
Limited tickets are available at www.OrlandoCitySC.com or by calling 855-ORL-CITY. The match will be broadcast live in English on TV27 and on Real Radio 104.1 FM, and will be transmitted in Spanish on La Grande 1030 AM.
