Last year's contest was held in Belleville, Ontario where the Eastern Conference All-Stars defeated the Western Conference All-Stars. The player of the game for the Eastern Conference in last year's All-Star Classic was Wojtek Wolski who is currently a member of the Colorado Avalanche while the Western Conference player of the game was Tom Pyatt of the Saginaw Spirit.
The OHL All-Star Game has featured many of the league's most famous graduates, including current NHL stars Eric Lindros, Joe Thornton, Rick Nash, Jason Spezza and Eric Staal.
