Ontario Fury Send Oliveira to Sockers

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, have sent midfielder Luan Sales Oliveira to the San Diego Sockers in exchange for cash considerations.
Oliveira, who came to the Fury in the offseason in a trade with the Milwaukee Wave, was third on the team with 11 points this season in seven games played.
"We appreciate the work that Luan has put in this season, but we have seen some improvement from some of our younger local players that allows us to make this move," said Fury president and coach Bernie Lilavois. "We wish him the best as he continues this season."
Oliveira had five goals and six assists this season for Ontario. The Fury and Sockers will meet one more time this season, Jan. 31, 2016 at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
The Fury will return to action Wednesday evening as they will take on the Milwaukee Wave at 7 p.m. at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets for the game are on sale now at the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office or online at AXS.com. Fury Holiday Packs are also still available, with tickets for three games - as well as the Fury's first home playoff game -- starting at only $9 per seat.
