INDEPENDENCE, MO - The Missouri Comets (9-2) will head north to visit Central Division folks Cedar Rapids Rampage (1-8) with only one day of rest after falling to the St. Louis Ambush at home last night. The final game of the year, which will kick off at 2:05 p.m. CT at the U.S. Cellular Center will be streamed live on Go Live Sports Cast and can also be followed on Twitter via @CometsMASL.

Coach Vlatko Andonovski's team will look to bounce back right away and also sweep the series against the Rampage, which fell twice against the Comets earlier this season. On 11/6, Cedar Rapids nearly spoiled Missouri's home opener but an overtime goal scored by Robert Palmer secured the victory. Three weeks later, a hat trick from Bryan Perez earned the Comets a 9-3 win in Iowa.

Coach Jeff Kraft's team earned its first victory of the campaign 11 days ago when they beat St. Louis 9-7 at home. However, the Rampage will enter the match coming from a heartbreaking 6-5 defeat last weekend against the Waza Flo.

Team captain Vahid Assadpour leads the league with 12 goals and 21 assists for a total of 33 points followed by MVP Leo Gibson who stands third overall with 27 points. As for Cedar Rapids, forwards Neto and Hewerton lead their team with 17 and 16 points.

In addition, goalkeeper Boris Pardo still stands third with a league-leading nine wins, a .726 save percentage and averaging 4.62 goals per match.

Following the road trip, Missouri will head back home for their third game in just five days this Saturday as they host the Milwaukee Wave at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena at 7:35 p.m. CT. For tickets, call 855-4KC-GOAL or visit ticketmaster.com.
