Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Rampage (1-8) and Missouri Comets (9-2) will face off for the third time this season tomorrow afternoon (2:00 p.m., U.S. Cellular Center) as both teams wrap up their schedule for 2015. Missouri has won the previous two contests; first squeaking out a 9-8 win in the regular season opener for both teams on November 6 and handily winning 9-3 in Cedar Rapids on November 28.

Two weeks removed from recording their first win in franchise history, Cedar Rapids is coming off a 6-5 loss last weekend to the Waza Flo (5-5) from Flint, Michigan. The Rampage were led in part last weekend by forward Alex Megson. Megson scored a pair of goals on five shots while forward and team captain Chile Farias and defenders Sam Guernsey and Diego Bobadilla netted one goal each. Boabdilla's goal was the first of his indoor soccer career. Cedar Rapids goalkeeper Joey Kapinos 19 of 24 shots for a 79 percent save percentage. The Rampage allowed one empty net goal with six seconds left in the match.

Forward Elmo Neto remains at the top of the Rampage stat sheet, having scored 17 points on eight goals and nine assists. Fellow forward Hewerton Moreira is three points behind, having scored five goals and 11 assists through nine games.

The Comets are paced by midfielder Vahid Assadpour, who has recorded 33 points on 12 goals and 21 assists. Assadpour leads the league in both points scored and assists. Missouri forward, and reigning MASL MVP, Leo Gibson is third in the league in point scored, with 27. Gibson has netted 13 goals while notching 14 assists through nine games on the season.

Tomorrow's game is the Big Top Balloon drop as we'll be hosting the biggest family-friendly New Year's Eve party in Cedar Rapids with inflatables, rides, and games along with $1 sodas and popcorn beginning at 11 a.m. The soccer match will begin at 2:00 p.m. with children 14 and under getting in free with a paid adult.
