
Ontario Fury Road Trip Continues in Kansas City

(ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA) - The Ontario Fury (9-8) travel to Independence, MO to play the Kansas City Comets (8-8) this Sunday February 23rd. Kickoff is set for 3:05pm CT and fans back home can watch live on MASL.tv. This will be the first and only game this season between the two clubs.
Ontario enters the game with a five-game winning streak and has won seven of their last eight games. Forward Franck Tayou has scored in all 17 games this season for the Fury and in 29 straight MASL games overall. Kansas City is led by player/coach Leo Gibson with 48 points.
Both the Fury and Comets are in tight playoff races in their respective MASL Conferences. The Fury currently sit in 3rd place in the West and in a playoff position with a slim half game lead over the Soles de Sonora and one and a half game lead over the Tacoma Stars. The Comets are in 6th place in the East and trail the Baltimore Blast by only two and a half games for the 4th and final playoff spot.
The Fury are coming into Kansas City off a 7-4 victory over the St. Louis Ambush on Friday while the Comets lost in overtime to defending MASL Champions, the Milwaukee Wave 7-6. After this game the Fury will travel to Turlock Cal Express on Friday Feb 28th before returning home to Toyota Arena against the Milwaukee wave on Sunday Mar 1st.
