SeaWolves Comeback Falls Just Short in Harrisburg

Orlando, FL - Playing their second game in two nights, the Orlando SeaWolves battled with the Harrisburg Heat in a game that saw the SeaWolves score four goals in the fourth quarter to keep it close. Ultimately, despite hat tricks from Armando Tello and Jeff Michaud, Orlando fell 11-8 against the Heat.

After going down early, Luiz Mota once again scored the equalizer to pull things level. Orlando would struggle through the second quarter, eventually going down 5-1 at halftime.

The second half started well for the SeaWolves as Jeff Michaud scored his first of three goals on the night. After trading goals with Harrisburg, Armando Tello scored his first of three to make it 6-3. Harrisburg would score three in a row leading into the fourth quarter before the Orlando offense started to explode.

Afer a penalty was drawn by Luiz Mota, Rapha Tobias scored to make it 9-4. After a Harrisburg goal minutes later, Orlando found their form. Jeff Michaud scored a top corner strike, then Armando Tello finished off rebound. Tello would finish his hat trick off a counter-attack, then Michaud scored off a deflection from a defender to pull the game back to 10-8 late in the fourth.

Orlando pulled their keeper to go with a sixth attacker, but the SeaWolves couldn't break down the Heat defense as Harrisburg scored with an open net to seal the game away with an 11-8 win.

Next up, the SeaWolves will finally return home to begin the month of March as they host the Cal Turlock Express on Sunday, March 1st at 3:05 p.m. The game will be televised online at masl.tv, with tickets available on orlandoseawolves.com.
