Wichita, KS (December 11th) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League, powered by Toyota, is pleased to announce the team's online merchandise store is now open and ready for the holiday season.
Fans can go to shop.wichitathunder.com and find all their favorite Thunder gear. With the team on the road until after Christmas, Thunder fans can order merchandise and have it shipped directly to their house. Check out all the new items for the true blue fan in your life. Everything from jerseys to men's and women's apparel to novelty items are all available now online! Don't delay, the holidays will be here before you know it!
The team is also excited to announce that Johnson Enterprises, which owns 92.7 KWME and 1550 KKLE, has created its own Wichita Thunder app to listen to the games directly to your smart phone. This is available on your Android, IPhone, and Google phones. Go to your app store, type in Wichita Thunder and Wichita Wingnuts. This will allow you to listen to the games directly to your phone.
Wichita begins a five-game road swing, starting next week with a pair of contests against the St. Charles Chill on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th at 7:05 p.m. The following week, the Thunder head to Arizona to face the Sundogs for the first time this season for a two-game set. The road swing ends with a rematch against the Oilers on Friday, December 27th at 7:35 p.m.
