Omaha Beef to Hold Open Player Tryouts

OMAHA, NE: The Omaha Beef have announced the first open player tryout for the 2012 season is to be held on November 12th, 2011. The tryouts will be held at the Omaha FC on 14706 Giles Road, and registration will begin at 7 a.m. The registration fee is $50 and includes a t-shirt. You can pre-register at www.beeffootball .com or by calling 402.346.2333.
Participants must be 18 years old, and any participant that is college eligible will risk losing his eligibility participating in this professional workout. Tryouts will consist of measurement and weight, 40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone shuttle, standing jump, vertical jump, individual and group workouts.
The Beef are a member of the Indoor Football League, the premier indoor football league in America. The Indoor Football League is a merger between the Intense Football League and the United Indoor Football, which happened before the 2009 inaugural season.
The BEEF are celebrating their 13th year of Professional Indoor Football in Omaha, Nebraska. Home games are played February through June. All home games start at 7:05 p.m. at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the IFL, and are committed to making a positive difference in the Omaha area through fun, football and community service.
