
Omaha Beef Signs OrthoWest & Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital as Partners for 2012 Season

Omaha, NE- The Omaha Beef announce OrthoWest as the Official Team Doctors for the 2012 season. OrthoWest, who specializes in Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, have been caring for sports teams and athletic injuries for over 30 years including the UNO Mavericks, Bellevue University, Ballet Nebraska, as well as many others in the Omaha area.
David Brown, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and will be the primary Doctor for the Omaha Beef. Along with Dr. Brown, Administrator Dave Zauha, and trainer Scott Martens will be a part of the clinical team.
Dave Zauha, Administrator for Orthowest states, "We have been in Sports Medicine since the early 80's and have worked with the Beef in the past. We are happy to be back in the program this year."
Along with OrthoWest, Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital will also be a partner of the Omaha Beef this 2012 season. Marketing Manager Brad Pfeifer believes, "Our partnership is one that compliments OrthoWest, we are excited to serve and support the needs of this program, that is complimentary to what is provided in practice and in the hospital. We work with a number of well-established teams such as the Omaha Stormchasers, University of Nebraska-Omaha, & high schools in the area. The extension of commitment to the athletic community and lifestyles is something we strive to promote."
General Manager Josh Roehr shares in OrthoWest's and Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital's excitement, "We are excited to have both organizations back on board with the Omaha Beef. It is fair to say that we have one of the best medical staffs in all of professional sports. I feel it says a lot about what we are doing from a professional level with the Beef to get these types of premier organizations as partners."
