
Omaha Beef Announce Radio Partnership with 1620 "The Zone"

Omaha, Nebraska - The Omaha Beef of the United Indoor Football (UIF) are pleased to announce their partnership with KOZN 1620 "The Zone" AM. This relationship will make "The Zone" the flagship station of the Omaha Beef again this season.
During the 2007 season, "The Zone" will broadcast 13 games on 1620 AM and then two games will be on 1290 KKAR AM due to scheduling conflicts. All 15 Beef games will be broadcast on the Internet via www.1620thezone.com and www.1290KKAR.com for the other two games. Nick Handley will handle play-by-play duties for the second straight season. As "The Voice of the Beef," Nick will bring energy and enthusiasm to the radio broadcast.
General Manager Dustin Talacko said, "The Zone is one of the premier radio programs in the country."
"Once you add an unbelievable talent like Nick Handley, you have yourself a radio broadcast that mirrors some of the best in the country. We are ecstatic to have an opportunity to work with the whole 1620 team again," added Talacko.
The Omaha Beef are preparing for their season opener on the road against their I-29 rival, the Sioux City Bandits. The game kicks off at 7:05pm on Saturday, March 24th in the hostile confines of the Tyson Events Center. The "Meat Wagon" fan bus will be making the trip with some seats still available.
