OL Reign to Face Rivals Portland Thorns on CBS on Sep. 12

TACOMA, Wash. - The National Women's Soccer League announced the first three weeks of the 2020 NWSL fall series schedule, including OL Reign's first match of the four-game series. OL Reign will open its fall schedule on the road against rivals Portland Thorns FC in a nationally televised match on CBS on Saturday, September 12 at 12:30 p.m. PT.

The match will serve as the CBS Game of the Week and mark the first time that OL Reign has featured on national television.

OL Reign, which recently announced an update to its club roster for the Fall Series, played Portland to a 0-0 draw on the final day of the preliminary round of the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup, securing a third-place finish during the preliminary round and dropping Portland to the bottom of the table.

OL Reign has been placed into a three-team pod alongside Portland and Utah Royals FC for the 2020 NWSL Fall Series, which divided the league geographically to minimize travel for each team. During the four-match Fall Series, each club will face its opponents once at home and once on the road.
