LAST GAME: The RedHawks lost their second straight to the Zephyrs, falling 3-2 in ten innings, despite the fact that Oklahoma did not allow a hit after the seventh inning. The RedHawks took a 2-0 first inning lead when Chris Davis drove in Jason Ellison and Ryan Roberts with a single. The Zephyrs plated runs in the third and fifth innings to tie the game. Oklahoma starter Eric Hurley pitched into the seventh inning, striking out seven along the way. New Orleans struck the final blow in the tenth. Steve Rowe came on in relief of Wes Littleton in the tenth and walked Anderson Machado on five pitches. After a sacrifice bunt moved the winning run to second, Rowe intentionally walked Anderson Hernandez and unintentionally walked Argenis Reyes. With the bases loaded and one out, Jose Valentin hit a ground ball towards first base. Chris Davis was charged with an error and the winning run scored.

WALK-OFF WOES: The RedHawks fell to 1-5 in walk-off situations. Oklahoma took its first victory of the season in this fashion, but have struggled since. The RedHawks have lost by a walk, a home run, two singles, and now an error.

GABBARD GOES AGAIN:

Kason Gabbard will make his second start for Oklahoma since being optioned by Texas on May 30. The southpaw was 1-2 for the Rangers and spent time on the disabled list from April 24 though May 8 with a sore back.

SKINNY ON HURLEY:

Eric Hurley had allowed eight earned runs over his last 27 innings for a 2.67 ERA, spanning his last four starts. The RedHawks, however, are 1-3 in those games, and 5-8 in games he has started this season. Oklahoma has provided a total of 56 runs of support (4.30 runs per start), and Hurley has given up 51 runs overall in his 13 starts (3.92 runs per start).

NEW ORLEANS AT A GLANCE:

Argenis Reyes extended his hitting streak to ten games last night. Reyes singled in the fourth inning to extend the streak... The Zephyrs hold the league's second best earned run average at 3.96, having allowed 241 earned runs over 547.1 innings pitched... New Orleans has outscored Oklahoma 12-11 this series after getting outscored 26-7 during their three game set in May... The Zephyrs are hitting .254 against the RedHawks this season, 25 points above their overall average.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas fell 5-4 to Tampa Bay... Frisco dropped a 6-5 final at San Antonio... Bakersfield lost 8-6 at San Jose... Clinton lost at Peoria 7-5.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

German Duran sat out his second straight game with a slight hamstring strain. The RedHawks infielder left Thursday's game prior to the bottom of the ninth inning, replaced by Ryan Roberts defensively... Joaquin Arias home run on Friday was his first since August 17, 2006 at Memphis. The RedHawks infielder missed all but five games last season due to multiple injuries and shoulder surgery... Oklahoma has not won on consecutive days since the last series against New Orleans, May 19 through 22.

TIME CHANGE:

The RedHawks have announced a time change that differs from what is listed on pocket schedules and previously printed tickets. Oklahoma's game with Round Rock on Monday, June 23 at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark is now a 7:05 pm first pitch.

ON THE AIR:

Every game this season can be heard on the RedHawks Radio Network, led by broadcaster Jim Byers for the ninth season, and joined by Adam Marco during each homestand.
