FRISCO, Texas - Oklahoma City Thunder forward Mitch McGary scored 15 points with five rebounds in 24 minutes as the Oklahoma City Blue defeated the Texas Legends, 117-113, on Friday in Frisco, Texas.

McGary was one of seven Oklahoma City players to score in double figures as the Blue was led by Talib Zanna's 22 points and 13 rebounds. Mario Little, Marquis Teague and Richard Solomon each scored 16 points and Michael Jenkins added 11. Semaj Christon scored 13 points off the bench while distributing six assists.

After a back-and-forth opening quarter that featured 10 lead changes, the Blue went on a 10-1 run midway through the second quarter to build a 50-37 lead. Oklahoma City took a 56-47 lead into halftime after holding Texas to 35.9 percent shooting and outrebounding the Legends by 12 in the first two quarters.

Oklahoma City led for the entire second half, despite the Legends cutting the Blue's lead to as little as one point late in the fourth quarter. A key offensive rebound by Josh Huestis led to a corner three from Jenkins to put the Blue up 107-103 with 1:58 remaining.

A three-pointer from Damion James with 46 seconds to go brought the Legends back to within one at 111-110. The Blue shot 8-of-10 from the free throw line in the final minute to hold onto the win and improve to 1-1 on the road.

The Blue (3-4) grabbed 22 more boards than the Legends with a 56-34 rebounding margin. Huestis, Solomon and Zanna each boasted double-digit rebounds.

Texas (5-3) was led by Eric Griffin with 31 points, eight rebounds and five blocks.

Oklahoma City continues its two-day Texas roadtrip with a 7:30 matchup against the Austin Spurs on Saturday night. For more information, visit OklahomaCityBlue.com.
