
Oklahoma City Holds off Reno

RENO, Nev. - The Oklahoma City Blue (26-21) defeated the Reno Bighorns (26-21), 121-118, on Saturday night.
Though Oklahoma City led for the majority of the game, Reno battled back and cut the lead to two points with 14 seconds left in the game. Two-way player Daniel Hamilton converted a free throw and the Bighorns couldn't tie the game, giving Oklahoma City its sixth win in the last seven games.
Hamilton finished with 27 points and 10 assists, his team-leading 20th double-double of the season. The Bighorns' Aaron Harrison led all scorers with 45 points.
Oklahoma City held Reno scoreless over the first two minutes of the fourth quarter and took its largest lead of the game at 107-91, after a pair of free throws from Javan Felix.
Felix scored 11 points off the bench, one of seven in double figures from the Blue. Oklahoma City's bench outscored Reno's, 27-23.
The first half of the game featured eight ties and seven lead changes, but Oklahoma City closed the second quarter on an 8-0 run and led 64-56 at halftime. Mike Cobbins scored eight points in the second quarter and finished with 14 points.
The Blue closes its road trip at the Agua Caliente Clippers on Tuesday, March 20 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena at 9 p.m.
