Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers open a seven-game West Coast road trip at 9:05 p.m. Central time against the Sacramento River Cats at Raley Field. Tonight is the first of three games in Sacramento before the Dodgers head south for a four-game series in Fresno.

Last Game: Monday was a league-wide day off, but on Sunday afternoon at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Omaha scored four runs in the top of the 12th inning to send OKC to an 8-5 loss. The teams played to a 3-3 tie through nine innings. Both teams couldn't score in the 10th inning and each team scored a run in the 11th inning to make it 4-4. In the top of the 12th, Adalberto Mondesi hit a RBI triple and Frank Schwindel followed with a RBI single for the Storm Chasers. Terrance Gore later hit a two-out triple to bring home two more runs for an 8-4 edge. The Dodgers loaded the bases in the bottom of the inning and scored a run on Rocky Gale's sacrifice fly, but were unable to close the gap further. Omaha scored the game's first run in the second inning on Paulo Orlando's solo home run. In the third inning, Ryan O'Hearn's RBI double extended Omaha's lead to 2-0. In the bottom of the inning, a RBI single by OKC's Jacob Scavuzzo cut Omaha's lead to 2-1. Angelo Mora's RBI single in the fourth tied the game, 2-2. The Dodgers took a 3-2 lead in the sixth on Mora's second RBI knock of the game. Omaha knotted the game, 3-3, in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Schwindel. Omaha reliever Luis Vasquez (1-0) was credited with the win, and OKC's Joe Broussard (3-1) was charged with the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Guillermo Moscoso (2-3) makes his ninth start of the season...Last time out May 30 against Omaha, Moscoso took the loss, tying his season high with six runs allowed, as well as giving up a season-high eight hits. He also tied his season high with three walks and tied his season low with one strikeout. All six runs scored with two outs between the first and second innings...After beginning the season in the bullpen, Moscoso has posted a 3.73 ERA and .255 BAA in eight starts. He's allowed two earned runs or less in six starts...He has 43 K's against 16 walks in 47.0 IP...Moscoso has thrived on the road, posting a 1.57 ERA over five games (four starts) away from OKC...The 2018 season marks his first playing in the U.S. since 2013, following a three-year run in Japan and last year in Mexico...Over five MLB seasons with Texas (2009-10), Oakland (2011), Colorado (2012) and San Francisco (2013), he has compiled a 4.28 ERA over 222.2 IP and 70 games (26 starts) with 166 K's and 86 walks...This is Moscoso's second career stint with OKC after appearing in 35 games (33 starts) for the RedHawks in 2009-10...He originally signed with Detroit as an amateur free agent Jan. 16, 2003...Tonight is his third career start against the River Cats and first since Aug. 30, 2012 while with Colorado Springs. He also made one start against the River Cats while playing for the RedHawks in 2010, earning a win with seven shutout innings. Moscoso made nine appearances and eight starts for Sacramento during the 2011 season, going 3-3 with a 3.88 ERA over 46.1 innings with 16 walks and 52 strikeouts.

Against the River Cats: 2018: 0-0 2017: 3-0 All-time: 37-42 At SAC: 19-21 The Dodgers and River Cats are meeting for their lone series of the season...OKC swept Sacramento in a weather-shortened three-game series last season at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The sweep was their first against the River Cats since 2002 when they won all four games in OKC...The series opened May 15, 2017 with Wilmer Font racking up a team-record and career-high 15 strikeouts - the most strikeouts in a single game by an OKC pitcher since the team rejoined the PCL in 1998...OKC outscored the River Cats, 14-8, in the series and hit six home runs...Drew Maggi paced the Dodgers' offense, going 6-for-11 (.545). Max Muncy had five hits, while Willie Calhoun and Trayce Thompson each homered twice...The teams last met at Raley Field in 2016, splitting the series, 2-2...OKC has split or won their last four series in Sacramento and has not lost a series there since going 1-3 in 2009.

Road Rash: Although the Dodgers have the most home wins in the Minors with a 23-6 record, they are just 10-14 on the road this season. The Dodgers lost five of eight games during their last road trip May 21-28 in Memphis and Nashville, and they have also lost eight of their last 11 road games and 12 of their last 17 away from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...Of OKC's 14 total road losses, 10 have come by one or two runs. The Dodgers have been held to two or fewer runs eight times over the last 16 road games, with five games tallying one or no runs...The team is slashing .238/.297/.356 with 3.7 runs per game on the road compared to .314/.375/.490 with 6.1 runs per game at home...During their previous road trip, the Dodgers batted .221 (59x267) and scored 27 runs. They also struck out 78 times against 14 walks, with five games of 10-plus strikeouts. Subtracting an eight-run, seven-hit explosion in the 10th inning of a 10-3 win May 22 in Memphis, the Dodgers batted .202 (52x258) with 19 runs and went 14-for-61 (.229) with RISP during the trip.

Rock Steady: Rocky Gale went 2-for-5 with a RBI and run scored Sunday. He has now hit safely in 21 of his last 24 games, batting .368 (32x87) with six extra-base hits (3 HR) and 12 RBI while raising his season average from .200 to .328. He's been even hotter over his last 21 games, going 30-for-75 (.400) with 10 multi-hit outings...Between Gale, Cael Brockmeyer and Kyle Farmer, Dodgers catchers have combined to bat .351 (66x188) with 30 RBI this season.

New Kids on the Block: Edwin Ríos is off to an impressive start after missing close to two months of the season with injury. He has hit safely in seven of his eight games, including five multi-hit efforts. He is 10-for-26 (.385) during a six-game hit streak with three RBI. His nine hits against Omaha paced the Dodgers in the five-game series...In his first game with OKC in one month, Angelo Mora hit two RBI singles and scored a run Sunday after rejoining the team from Double-A Tulsa...Outfielder Andrew Toles has been activated off the Disabled List after being shelved since April 14 with a right hamstring injury. In his first six games of the season before being injured, Toles was 12-for-26 with five extra-base hits and seven RBI and was 7-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

Extra Credit: Including Sunday, the Dodgers have now played seven extra-inning games, going 4-3. Under the new extra innings rules, the Dodgers and their opponents have combined for 40 runs (OKC - 22; Opp. - 18). Sunday marked a stark contrast from OKC's previous games that had gone to extras: The team went 0-for-10 with a walk and a sacrifice fly after going 17-for-29 (.586) as a unit in their first six games.

Around the Horn: The Dodgers went 0-for-their-last-15 Sunday, including 0-for-the-last-10 with runners in scoring position...Tim Locastro is 7-for-15 with three extra-base hits, three RBI and four runs scored during a current four-game hit streak. He's also put together three straight multi-hit games (6x11)...Kyle Farmer has hit safely in 13 of his first 15 games since joining OKC, swatting three homers and driving in 15 runs with 12 runs scored...Sunday afternoon's game against Omaha in OKC lasted 4 hours, 10 minutes and was decided in the 12th inning, marking the team's longest game of the season in terms of both time and innings. There were 397 total pitches thrown in the game.
