Last Game: Angelo Mora hit a go-ahead two-run homer and finished with three hits and three RBI to lead the Dodgers to a 4-2 win over Fresno Saturday at Chukchansi Park. Trailing, 2-1, in the top of the seventh inning with a runner at first base and two outs, Mora lined a 3-2 pitch from Trent Thornton over the right field fence to give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead. The Dodgers added to their lead in the ninth when Mora sent a RBI single to right-center field to go ahead 4-2. Each team got on the board in the first inning. Andrew Toles led off the game with a double and scored two batters later on a RBI single by Alex Verdugo. Tyler White answered in the bottom of the inning with a solo home run to even the score. The game stayed tied until the bottom the sixth. A.J. Reed led off the inning with a homer, giving the Grizzlies a 2-1 lead. For the second straight night, the Dodgers pieced together all nine innings with the bullpen, including Triple-A debuts by Andrew Istler and Jason Richman (1-0), who ended up being the pitcher of record and was credited with the win. Istler threw three scoreless frames with four strikeouts, and Brian Schlitter kept Fresno scoreless over two innings as well. Thornton (4-4) tossed a season-high seven innings for Fresno in the loss.
