Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Baseball Club closes out its road series against the Round Rock Express with a 1:05 p.m. game at Dell Diamond...OKC has won three consecutive games and a win today would give OKC its longest winning streak since a six-game winning streak July 22-28, 2023...OKC leads the series, 3-2.

Last Game: The Oklahoma City Baseball Club scored eight runs in the fourth inning to propel the team to a 12-3 win over the Round Rock Express Saturday night at Dell Diamond. Trailing, 1-0, entering the fourth inning, Oklahoma City piled up eight runs on seven hits. Andre Lipcius and Jonathan Araúz each provided two-run singles, Miguel Vargas and Andy Pages each drove in a run and two more scored on a Round Rock error. Kevin Padlo homered in the fifth inning, and Pages added a two-run single in the sixth inning. After Round Rock's Sam Huff hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning, Lipcius connected on a home run leading off the seventh inning.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Jesse Hahn (0-0) is scheduled to open a bullpen game for OKC today and make his first start overall since the 2021 season...Hahn has made four relief appearances with OKC so far in 2024. Over 4.1 innings, Hahn has allowed five runs (four earned), five hits, four walks and nine strikeouts, but has held opponents scoreless in his last two appearances totaling 3.0 innings. In Round Rock Wednesday during Game 1 of a doubleheader, Hahn pitched 2.0 scoreless and hitless innings with one walk and three strikeouts, retiring six of seven batters faced...Hahn signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a minor league free agent in January after not playing the 2023 and 2022 seasons while recovering from injury...Hahn has appeared in 82 career ML games (50 starts), posting a 4.22 ERA across stints with San Diego, Oakland and Kansas City...He originally signed with Tampa Bay and later made his ML debut June 3, 2014, with San Diego against Pittsburgh. He went on to tie for third among National League rookies in 2014 in wins (seven) and sixth in strikeouts (70) while surrendering just four home runs in 73.1 IP.

Against the Express: 2024: 3-2 2023: 14-4 All-time: 179-141 At RR: 96-70 Oklahoma City and the Express meet for the first time since facing one another in the 2023 PCL Championship Series when OKC swept Round Rock, winning, 8-3, in Game 1, and, 5-2, in Game 2 for OKC's first league title since 1996...OKC won the regular-season series between the teams, 14-4, including wins in nine of the first 10 games and in four of the last five regular-season meetings...OKC swept the Express May 9-14 in the team's lone series in Round Rock. It was OKC's first-ever six-game series sweep since PCL teams started playing primarily six-game series in 2021. OKC trailed in the seventh inning or later in four of the six wins and hit a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning twice...The last 12 meetings between the teams in the regular season were played in OKC, with OKC winning both series, 4-2. During a 17-7 win Aug. 6, OKC set a new team record for hits in a home game with 22...In their most recent series Aug. 29-Sept. 3, OKC held the Express to four runs or less in each of the final five games, including allowing one run in each of the final two meetings of the regular season, winning by a combined score of 16-2...During the regular season, Ryan Ward led OKC with 16 hits in 17 games against the Express, including seven doubles and three homers. In the postseason, Drew Avans racked up six hits in two games and tied Michael Busch with three RBI against Round Rock...Entering today, OKC is 10-2 in the team's last 12 games at Dell Diamond.

First Offense: Oklahoma City set a season high by scoring 12 runs last night for the team's highest single-game run total since a 13-8 win in Albuquerque Sept. 20, 2023. Last night was the second time this season OKC's offense reached double-digit runs and the nine-run winning margin was the team's largest so far in 2024. It was OKC's most lopsided win since a 14-0 victory Aug. 27, 2023 against Albuquerque at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and largest winning margin in a road game since an 11-2 win June 30, 2023 in Sugar Land...The eight-run fourth inning Saturday was the team's highest-scoring inning since a nine-run bottom of the first inning against Salt Lake on June 13, 2023. OKC tallied seven hits during the fourth inning last night, which is the team's highest total in one inning also since the same inning against Salt Lake...Additionally, OKC tied its season high mark with 16 hits last night. Four players finished with multi-hit games, and eight players collected both at least one hit and scored one run...After each of the team's first eight games were decided by one or two runs, four of the last six games have been decided by five or more runs, including three of the last four.

Fine and Dandy: Andy Pages went 3-for-4 with a season-high three RBI Saturday. Pages is currently on a seven-game hitting streak, going 15-for-30 with three homers, two doubles and 10 RBI. He has six multi-hit games during the stretch, including three straight (7-for-13)...Over his last 10 games, Pages is 18-for-43 (.419) with three doubles, three homers, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored...His 20 hits overall pace OKC early this season, along with his team-leading 13 runs scored. His 20 hits lead the league, while his 13 runs scored are tied for third-most in the PCL...His three homers since April 7 are second-most in the league over the last week. Last Sunday, he hit his first Triple-A home run in the second inning - a two-run shot that sailed over the video board in left field and exited the stadium. He followed that up with a two-run blast in the sixth inning of Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader out to right-center field before hitting a solo homer Friday night.

Dinger Details: Oklahoma City hit two home runs last night and has five homers over the last two games after being held to three total homers in the previous seven games combined. Kevin Padlo homered in both games Friday and Saturday and Andre Lipcius homered Saturday as well...On Friday night, Ryan Ward and Padlo recorded the team's first back-to-back home runs of the season, coming within the first three pitches of the second inning. Prior to Friday, the last time OKC players hit back-to-back home runs was in the bottom of the ninth inning of the 2023 Triple-A National Championship Game against Norfolk in Las Vegas last September (Michael Busch and Miguel Vargas). The team went back-to-back six times during the 2023 regular season...On the other hand, after not allowing a home run in a season-best three straight games, OKC allowed two homers Saturday. The team has yielded just eight home runs - fewest in the PCL - and kept their opponent inside the park in nine of the first 14 games.

Pitching Prowess: OKC held Round Rock to three runs or less in a third consecutive game Saturday and kept an opponent to three runs or less for the seventh time this season and sixth time in the last eight games, going 6-0 in those games...OKC's pitching staff notched 15 strikeouts for the team's second-highest total of the season...Starting pitcher Elieser Hernández allowed one run over five innings to earn his first win of the season. Hernández racked up seven strikeouts - the most by an Oklahoma City pitcher so far in 2024...Round Rock went 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position last night and the Express is now 1-for-18 with RISP over the last three games after going 7-for-14 with RISP during Wednesday's doubleheader...Through 14 games, OKC's pitching staff's 95 hits allowed are fewest in the league, their 146 strikeouts rank second-most in the league and their 58 runs allowed are third-fewest in the PCL.

Drew Up: Drew Avans tallied a season-high three hits Saturday, including two doubles. He has now hit safely in six straight games, going 10-for-25 (.400) with five extra-base hits and nine runs scored...His seven multi-hit games this season are tied with Andy Pages for the team lead and he has four multi-hit outings in his last six games...During the team's Bricktown era (since 1998), Avans ranks third with 186 career walks and 84 stolen bases and is eighth with 332 career hits. He is two walks shy of tying Jason Botts for second all-time. He is now tied with Joaquin Arias for the third-most games played (349 games) during the Bricktown era...Avans collected his 20th career triple Friday and is two behind Arias for the Bricktown era career record...His six doubles so far this season pace OKC.

Dre Day: Andre Lipcius became the first OKC player to record four hits in one game this season when he went 4-for-5 with a home run, double and three RBI Saturday. Lipcius jumped out to a fast start this season, going 5-for-9 with two home runs in his first two games, but was then held a combined 5-for-27 over his next eight games before Saturday...He is the first OKC player with four hits in a game since Drew Avans went 4-for-4 in the first game of the PCL Championship Series against Round Rock Sept. 26, 2023 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Trey Bien: Trey Sweeney picked up a hit and scored a run Saturday, extending his on-base streak to 13 games. Sweeney was held without a walk for just the second time this season Saturday as his 16 walks lead the PCL and his 13-game on-base streak is tied for second in the league behind Miguel Vargas' 14-game streak...After hitting safely in seven straight games (10-for-22), Sweeney is 2-for-16 in his last four games.

Miggy Mash: Miguel Vargas went 2-for-5 with a RBI last night and is the only player in the PCL to reach base in each of his team's first 14 games this season. The on-base streak is Vargas' longest on-base streak since Aug. 13-31, 2023 when he reached base safely in 15 straight games with Oklahoma City...Vargas has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games, going 15-for-48 (.313) with four doubles, three homers and 17 RBI...He has 17 RBI overall this season to lead OKC and his total is fifth-most in the PCL. He already has two four-RBI games this month.

The Warden: Ryan Ward had Saturday night off, but on Friday hit his second home run in five games and finished the game 2-for-3 with two extra-base hits and three RBI. Ward has tallied five extra-base hits and 10 RBI over his last five games, going 6-for-19...Overall this season, six of his nine hits have gone for extra bases. His three homers are tied for the team lead and his 11 RBI in 11 games are tied with Andy Pages for second-most on the team although Ward has played three fewer games...Last season, Ward ranked fourth in the PCL with 95 RBI, making him the ninth player in OKC's Bricktown era (since 1998) with at least 95 RBI in a single season. He also led the PCL with 139 games played - the most by an OKC player in a single season since at least 2005.

Around the Horn: Kody Hoese picked up a hit, two walks and scored two runs yesterday as he has hit safely in seven of his first eight Triple-A games, going 10-for-28 (.357) with three multi-hit outings...Jonathan Araúz has hit safely in six straight games (6x24) after starting the season 1-for-18...Over the first eight games this played under the ABS Challenge System, OKC is 7-for-22 in challenges. Of the 43 total challenged pitches, 33 have been upheld (76.7 percent).
