LAREDO, TX - It took the Tulsa Oilers just 1:26 to get on the board Friday night in Laredo, and the visitors were just getting warmed up. Jay Sprague opened the scoring for Tulsa, and Michel Beausoleil made it 2-0 Oilers just 28 seconds later. Ryan Raven notched his first CHL goal later in the first period and the Oilers went into the first intermission with a 3-0 lead.

The offensive onslaught continued in the 2nd period with the first goal of the season from Mike Ullrich and two tallies from Dylan Clarke. Todd Griffith had the lone goal for Laredo, which fell to 2-3 on the year.

The Oilers improved to 4-2 on the young season and are now 3-1 on the road. Ian Keserich made his sixth straight start in net for Tulsa and put in another outstanding performance with 33 saves on 34 shots.

Tulsa travels to Rio Grande Valley tomorrow night for the first meeting of the season with the Killer Bees. Game time is set for 7:30pm.
