Oilers Reveal 2024 Game Schedule

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, in conjunction with the IFL, have announced their 2024 season schedule.
The IFL will have 16 teams, two more than last year, with the additions of the Jacksonville Sharks and the San Antonio Gunslingers. There will be eight teams in both the Eastern and Western Conferences. The Tulsa Oilers will be a part of the Eastern Conference, joining the Frisco Fighters, Green Bay Blizzard, Iowa Barnstormers, Jacksonville Sharks, Massachusetts Pirates, Quad City Steamwheelers, and the Sioux Falls Storm. The Western Conference will consist of the Arizona Rattlers, Bay Area Panthers, Duke City Gladiators, Northern Arizona Wranglers, San Antonio Gunslingers, San Diego Strike Force, Tucson Sugar Skulls, and the Vegas Knight Hawks.
The IFL schedule will consist of 16 games, one more than last year, eight of which will be home games for Tulsa. The Oilers will have two "bye weeks," the first in week three of the season and the final in week 17, the exact same bye week schedule as last season for Tulsa. The Oilers play all seven teams in the Eastern Conference twice, making up 14 of the 16 regular season games, with the remaining two games being against Western Conference teams. The Oilers will go on the road to San Antonio and will host San Diego.
Tulsa will begin its 2024 campaign on March 22, with the final game of the regular season taking place on July 20.
The Oilers will start the season on the road against Frisco for the second time in a row. The Oilers have a three-game road stretch for the first time ever, visiting Green Bay, San Antonio, and Massachusetts during weeks 9-11. Tulsa will have three straight home games to end the season over the course of four weeks, with a bye week mixed in.
Tulsa will play all of their home games on Saturdays at 7:05 p.m. CST. All road games will be on Saturdays except the opening road game in Frisco on March 22, which will be on a Friday, and two on a Sunday in Sioux Falls on April 14 and Quad City on April 28.
Tulsa will collectively travel roughly 10,762 miles throughout their eight games on the road, nearly over 1,000 miles less than their seven road games during year one. The farthest trip is to Lowell, Massachusetts, which is over 3,000 miles round trip.
Tulsa's schedule consists of teams that were a collective 53-53 during the regular season and 3-4 in playoffs. The Oilers will face four 2023 playoff teams in 2024, and those opponents will make up 8 of their 16 games. Tulsa will see a 2023 playoff team in four of the first five games to start the year. The Oilers will see nine unique opponents, one less than last season, with Jacksonville and San Antonio being the two teams that will see Tulsa for the first time ever. Tulsa will host Jacksonville and San Diego for the first time in franchise history.

Sioux Falls Storm: 9-6, 2-1 playoffs (vs. SF, 0-2)
Quad City Steamwheelers: 9-6, 0-1 playoffs (vs. QC, 1-1)
Jacksonville Sharks: 0-0, 2024 will be their first season
Green Bay Blizzard: 7-8 (vs. GB, 0-1)
San Antonio Gunslingers: 0-0, 2024 will be their first season
Massachusetts Pirates: 9-6, 0-1 playoffs (vs. MASS, 0-2)
San Diego Strike Force: 3-13 (vs. SD, 0-1)
Upon completion of the 2024 regular season, the top four teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs and will compete in two playoff rounds within their conference, with the two conference champions competing in the National Championship.
