Oilers Recall Teubert and Chorney

Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers recalled defensemen Taylor Chorney and Colten Teubert from the Oklahoma City Barons, Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today.

Chorney, a 6-1, 200-pounder from Thunder Bay, Ontario was assigned to the Barons November 10. He appeared in four games with the Barons this season, registering one assist and serving two penalty minutes. Chorney has appeared in 58 NHL games, scoring seven points (1-6-7).

Teubert, a 6-4, 210-pounder from White Rock, B.C. is being recalled for the second time this month. He was recalled by the Oilers November 2. He played in two games with the big club and registered one point. He has played 13 games with the Barons games this season recording five points (2-3-5) and has served 27 penalty minutes.

The Barons skate in back-to-back home games this weekend against the Abbotsford Heat at the Cox Convention Center. Faceoff is 7 p.m. The Heat are the AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames.
