
Oilers holding Teddy Bear Toss Friday night

TULSA, OK- The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League will return home this weekend as they host the Fort Worth Brahmas on Friday night and the Wichita Thunder on Saturday night at the Tulsa Convention Center. Game time for both contests is set for 7:35 p.m.
On both nights, the Oilers will be holding special promotions. At Friday night's game against the Brahmas, the Oilers will conduct their annual Teddy Bear Toss. Any fan bringing a Teddy Bear to the game will receive $2.00 off a ticket to that night's game. Simply bring the bear to the table set up outside the box office to receive your discounted ticket. After the Oilers have scored their first goal of the game, fans are encouraged to throw their Teddy Bears onto the ice. The bears will then be distributed to children's wards in Tulsa area hospitals.
Saturday night is Green Country Honda / Suzuki night at the Oilers as they host Wichita. The first 2,500 fans through the door will receive a free ice scraper from Green Country Honda / Suzuki in Broken Arrow. In addition to the ice scrapers, members of the Oilers team will be at Green Country Honda / Suzuki in Broken Arrow on Saturday before the game from 11:30 to 1:00 signing autographs and meeting with fans.
Tickets for this weekend's games are available at local Drug Marts, the Tulsa Convention Center Box Office, the Oilers office, or by phone at 584-2000.
