Ford Turnpike Series Resumes: The Tulsa Oilers resume their Ford Turnpike Series with the Oklahoma City Blazers tonight.

Records: Oilers are 24-20-4 with 52 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division. Oklahoma City is 31-18-2 with 64 points in second place in the Northwest Division.

Season Series: This is the 10th of 11 meetings between these two teams. Oklahoma City leads the season series 5-4. The Blazers won the last contest between the two teams, 4-3 on February 4th. The two teams have alternated wins in the series, with Oklahoma City winning the odd numbered games, and the Oilers winning the even numbered games. The final meeting of the series is in Tulsa on Friday March 3rd.

Renewing Acquaintances: Mike Lukajic has scored three goals in his three games with the Oilers. He began the season with Oklahoma City. In 29 games with the Blazers, he had six goals and four assists. He played four games for the Blazers against the Oilers this season and had one goal and one assist.

They Call Him the Streak: Center Jim Dahl, who has the league's longest goal scoring streak this season at seven games, is on an eight game point streak. He has five goals and nine assists for 14 points in that stretch.

30-30 Club: Dahl had two goals in the Oilers 4-2 win over Memphis Saturday night, giving him 30 goals on the season. He joins Jaroslav Cesky (currently out with a broken arm) in the 30-goal club. Last year the Oilers didn't have any 30-goal scorers (Todd Marcellus led Tulsa with 28 goals last season). Henry Kuster is knocking on the door of the 30-goal club with 25 goals.

Finding His Stride: Mike Possin has scored four goals in the last six games, and has points in five of those games. He has played 26 games with the Oilers and has six goals and five assists for 11 points. Nine of those 11 points have come in the last 13 games.

Next Up: The Oilers will hit the road on Thursday to visit the Lubbock Cotton Kings at 7:05 p.m. Tulsa returns home Friday to host the Wichita Thunder at 7:35 p.m. That will be team poster night with the first 2,500 fans receiving a FREE Oilers team poster, courtesy of Jackie Cooper Nissan.
