"Once again Bucks fans showed how terrific they are," said Bucks President John Beckelhymer. "They responded in droves to the call to donate blood. We were thrilled by the response of Bucks fans and very happy that the Bucks organization could work with the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center to help save so many lives."
All donors received a commemorative T-shirt and a pair of tickets to a Bucks game.
"The Laredo Bucks Give Blood Play Hockey Blood Drive was an outstanding success," said Angelica Padron Community Relations Specialist for the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center. "We thank everyone that came out to donate and at the same time remind everyone of the continuous need for blood in the community."
