
Oil Kings Sign Souch

EDMONTON, ALTA -- Edmonton Oil Kings general manager Randy Hansch announced today the team has signed Carter Souch to a standard Western Hockey League player agreement.
Souch, who was selected by Edmonton in the 4th round (75th overall) in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft, played with the SSAC Lions in Bantam AAA last season recording 64 points (34G,30A) in 36 games. The local Edmonton product also had three goals and three assists in four playoff games.
"We are very excited in announcing the signing of Carter," said Hansch. "He is an intelligent player with a high level of skill. After having a very productive bantam season, Carter has continued on with his solid play while recently attending our Rookie and Main Camps. We look forward to watching him develop in our Oil Kings program."
The 2001 born forward played in five games at the 2016 Alberta Cup where he had two goals and an assist for his team.
