
Oil Kings Recall Gavin Hodnett

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings have recalled forward Gavin Hodnett from Rink Hockey Academy Winnipeg U18.
Hodnett, a 2006-born forward, was the Oil Kings first-round selection, 19th overall, at the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
He made his Oil Kings debut on December 17 against the Swift Current Broncos. In five games with the Oil Kings this season, the Winnipeg, MB product registered two assists and a +1 plus/minus rating.
This past season with the Rink Hockey Academy in Winnipeg, he played in 35 games tallying 59 points (17G, 42) and 10 penalty minutes. He led the entire CSSHL U18 league in assists and finished fourth in points.
Hodnett as been added to the Oil Kings active roster.
