
Oil Kings Claim Forward Reed Jacobson off WHL Waivers

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings have claimed 2002-born forward Reed Jacobson off WHL waivers from the Spokane Chiefs, the team announced today.
Jacobson, 20, is a veteran of 114 WHL games after spending the previous three seasons with the Spokane Chiefs in which he registered 35 points (12G, 23A), a -13 plus/minus rating and 34 penalty minutes over that time.
The Swift Current, SK product was originally drafted by the Chiefs in the sixth round, 115th overall, of the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft.
He was named the Chiefs 2019-20 Scholastic Player of the Year.
