Oil Kings Announce Hansch Will Not Return as General Manager

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have announced today that General Manager Randy Hansch will not be returning to the Oil Kings next season.

Hansch will assist in transitioning the Oil Kings to a new management team up until July 1, 2018 and will then be joining another National Hockey League (NHL) team as an amateur scout.

Oilers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Peter Chiarelli said, "Randy has been with the Oil Kings for 11 years and has been an integral part of past success in talent evaluation and managing. He will be assisting with the transition to a new management team over the next few weeks and will then join an NHL team as an amateur scout immediately following the completion of the new hirings."
