Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
EDMONTON, ALTA. - The Edmonton Oil Kings have acquired a conditional 7th round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for listed goaltender Austin McGrath, general manager Randy Hansch announced.
The 6'1", 180-pound Lloydminster, AB native split the past season between the Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL) and the Lloydminster Bobcats (AMHL)
"Austin had a productive year and is a solid individual," said Hansch. "But with the number of bodies we have in that position we've had to make some room there and this move allows Austin the chance to further develop his career. We wish him all the success moving forward."
