OHL Academic Spotlight - Billy Moskal
The London Knights are proud to partner with Teachers Life and the Ontario Hockey League for the Academic Spotlight Series. Our first spotlight in the series highlights fourth year forward, Billy Moskal. Billy has always been highly academic, winning awards in both grades 9 and 10 before starting his OHL career with the London Knights. Upon joining the team Billy won the Midwest division Academic Player of the Month Award through the OHL in October of 2017. During the 2019-2020 season Billy was named the London Knights Academic Player of the Year and was a finalist for the OHL's Roger Neilsen award for the league's top post-secondary student. Billy is currently enrolled at King's College focusing on e-commerce and business.
"I have had a really good opportunity here in London to play hockey and still achieve my academic goals." - Billy Moskal.
"Billy has always been a very smart player both on and off the ice and we are very proud of his academic accomplishments over the past four years here in London" - Rob Simpson, Associate General Manager.
"Teachers Life are proud sponsors of the OHL's Academic Spotlight Program," says Doug Baker, President and CEO of Teachers Life.
