Vancouver, BC - In advance of the 2013 National Hockey League (NHL) season, OfficePools.com today announced the site's preliminary fantasy draft statistics. With the 2013 NHL season set to begin on Saturday, January 19th, OfficePools.com has seen heavy traffic recently as fantasy players and administrators began their quest for pool supremacy.

Evgeni Malkin has been drafted first overall in 48% of all pools while Sidney Crosby has been chosen first in 28% of pools and Steven Stamkos has been taken with the top choice in 12% of pools. Evgeni Malkin has been drafted in the first or second position in 76% of all pools and has been chosen in the top five 96% of the time. Phil Kessel has been taken in the top five in 25% of all pools so far. Claude Giroux has been selected in the fourth or fifth position in 50% of pools. Daniel Sedin has not been picked in the top five in any pools while Henrik Sedin was chosen in the top five 21% of the time.
