
Three Raiders Ranked by Central Scouting

Prince Albert SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have been listed on the National Hockey League Central Scouting Midterm Rankings released this morning.
17-year-old defenceman Josh Morrissey is the top ranked Raider, sitting 11th among all North American skaters, and 4th among defencemen on the list. The Calgary, Alberta product currently sits 7th in defencemen scoring in the Western Hockey League, with 32 points, topping all draft-eligible blueliners in the league. The 6', 185-pound defenceman also leads all draft eligible rearguards in goals, netting 12 on the year, good for 3rd overall in the WHL. Morrissey is currently preparing to showcase his skills at the Home Hardware CHL Top Prospects game in Halifax on Wednesday night.
Recently acquired 18-year-old forward Jayden Hart sits 139th among North American skaters. The 6'1, 188-pound forward has scored 7 goals and 7 assists in 24 games this season, including 4 points in 6 games since joining the Green and Gold. A product of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Hart recorded 32 points in 67 games in his rookie campaign last season with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
18-year-old forward Carson Perreaux also cracked the list of top prospects, coming in at 175th. The 6'2.5", 183-pound Brandon, Manitoba native has nearly tripled his offensive output from last season, scoring 8 goals and adding 5 assists for 13 points along with 18 penalty minutes.
The Raiders are back in action tomorrow night as they host the Kootenay Ice at the Art Hauser Centre at 7:00 PM. It is the last home game for Prince Albert until February 2nd, as they will travel to Brandon on Friday followed by their 5-game swing to the British Columbia Division.
