Williamsport was unable to complete their first road series sweep of the season, falling 8-3 to Vermont in the series finale.
Francisco Morales struggled, allowing four runs on four hits, four walks while striking out three over four innings of work.
Jose Jimenez allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out two over 1.1 innings of relief.
Austin Ross allowed one run on one hit, while striking out three over 2.2 innings of relief.
Ben Pelletier hit his 3rd home run of the season and picked up his team-leading 21st RBI of the season.
Madison Stokes finished the night 2-4 with a double and Ben Aklinski went 2-4, representing four of the Cutters 8 hits.
Williamsport tied a season-high with 5 errors in the contest. The Cutters struck out 11 times in the loss, striking out a total of 32 times in the three-game series.
