Uncasville, CT - Overseas play opened up again on Thursday, December 1 as Jonquel Jones and CBK Mersin defeated Cankaya, 77-75, in a Turkish League matchup. J. Jones dominated, notching a double-double with 21 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in the close win. On Sunday, December 4, CBK Mersin and Jones picked up another Turkish League victory, defeating Besiktas, 92-87. J. Jones led her team with her team with 28 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

The following week, J. Jones, Dewanna Bonner and CBK Mersin dropped a EuroLeague contest to Famila Schio on Thursday, December 8, 76-72. Bonner tallied a double-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal. J. Jones added a double-double of her own with 18 points, 14 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in the effort. To close out the week, Bonner, J. Jones and CBK Mersin defeated Turkish League opponent, Hatay, 90-61, on Sunday, December 11. J. Jones tallied her fourth straight double-double with 29 points, 19 rebounds and two assists. Bonner added five points, one rebounds, two assists and one block.

Joyner Holmes and Sassari returned to action on Sunday, December 4, defeating San Martino, 72-65, in an Italian League contest. Holmes led her team with a double-double, tallying 17 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in the win. On Wednesday, December 7, Holmes and Sassari dropped a EuroCup contest to ESB Villeneuve, 68-48. Holmes finished with five points, five rebounds and one block in the effort. Holmes and Sassari closed out the week with a 91-64 victory over Basket Crema on Sunday, December 11. Holmes finished one assist shy of a triple-double with 13 points, 14 rebounds, nine assists, three steals and one block.

Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones and USK Prague fell to Fenerbahce, 82-72, in overtime on Wednesday, December 7. B. Jones led the way with 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals in the effort. Thomas finished with a double-double, tallying 21 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and one steal. B. Jones, Thomas and USK Prague finished the week out with an 86-50 win over KP Brno on Saturday, December 10. B. Jones notched 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and four assists. Thomas added 11 points, four rebounds, five assists and four steals in the win.

Connecticut Sun players are back in overseas action this week beginning with Bonner, J. Jones and CBK Mersin taking on Uni Girona at 11:00 AM ET; and B. Jones, Thomas and USK Prague playing Olympiacos at 1:00 PM ET on December 14. On December 15, Holmes and Sassari match up against BA London Lions at 2:30 PM ET. J. Jones, Bonner and CBK Mersin play Rize at 6:00 AM ET on December 17. To close out the week, B. Jones, Thomas and USK Prague take on Zabiny Brno; and Holmes and Sassari match up against Virtus Bologna at 12:00 PM ET on December 18.
