Uncasville, CT - Jonquel Jones, DeWanna Bonner and CBK Mersin fell to EuroLeague opponent, Sopron, 75-50, on Wednesday, November 2. Jones tallied a double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, one assist and one block. Bonner added 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists in the effort. Later in the week, Bonner, Jones and CBK Mersin defeated Bellona Kayseri in a Turkish League contest, 83-65. Jones notched her second double-double of the week with 12 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal. Bonner filled the stat sheet with seven points, eight rebounds, eight assists and one block in the win.

On Wednesday, November 2, Nia Clouden and Lublin picked up their first EuroCup win over Crvena Zvezda, 83-57. Clouden led her team with 22 points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in the victory. On Saturday, November 5, Clouden and Lublin dropped a Polish League matchup to AZS Poznan, 79-50. Clouden finished with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in the effort.

Alyssa Thomas and USK Prague defeated Valencia in a EuroLeague matchup on Wednesday, November 2, 83-76. Thomas notched a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block in USK Prague's second EuroLeague victory of the season.

Joyner Holmes and Sassari dropped their second EuroCup matchup of the season to Villeneuve, 77-56. Holmes finished with her fourth double-double of the year, tallying 11 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and one block. Later in the week, Holmes and Sassari picked up an overtime victory over Italian League opponent, Faenza, 89-81. Holmes dominated in the win, leading her team with 26 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Connecticut Sun players return to off-season play this week starting with Bonner, Jones and CBK Mersin taking on Landes at 1:30 P.M. EST; Thomas and USK Praha facing off against Bourges at 2:00 P.M. EST; and Holmes and Sassari playing BA London Lions at 2:00 P.M. EST on November 9. On November 10, Clouden and Lublin play Ramat Hasharon at 12:00 P.M. EST. Thomas and USK Praha take on Slavia Prague at 11:00 A.M. EST on November 12. To close out the week, Jones, Bonner and CBK Mersin battle Nesibe Aydin at 8:00 A.M. EST; Holmes and Sassari play Ragusa at 12:00 P.M. EST; and Clouden and Lublin take on Sleza Wroclaw at 12:00 P.M. EST on November 13.
