The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- OF Micker Adolfo placed on the disabled list

Adolfo, who hit .283 with 11 homers and 50 RBIs with Winston-Salem in 2018, will undergo Tommy John surgery to heal a sprained ulnar collateral ligament and a strained flexor tendon in his throwing elbow. Rated the 10th-best prospect in the White Sox system per MLB Pipeline, Adolfo played 78 games for the Dash this season before being shut down for the remainder of the year.

The Dash's current active roster stands at 23 players, two shy of the Carolina League maximum, with four players on the disabled list and one on the temporary inactive list.
