Odessa playoff tickets on sale
July 1, 2005 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
West Texas Roughnecks News Release
ODESSA, TX. As the Roughnecks conclude the regular season tonight with a game against Lubbock played for pride, tickets for next weeks playoff game are going on sale today.
At 14-0, the Roughnecks have earned home field advantage and will play in the Ector County Coliseum for at least three, and maybe four, of four rounds of the NIFL playoffs. The Beaumont Drillers will be the first to face Odessa next Saturday, July 9th. A Roughnecks win will lead to another home game versus a Pacific Conference rival on Saturday, July 16th. Another win would call for a Saturday, July 23rd game played in Odessa unless...the 14-0 Everett Hawks win the tie-breaker to become the top seed and they also win their first two playoff games as well. In this situation, the Roughnecks will travel to Everett for this third round game. Regardless of the location, a win will bring the fourth game, the Championship "Indoorbowl" to the Ector County Coliseum on Saturday, July 30th.
While tickets for Saturday's game are now on sale, tickets for the second game will not be made available until after a Roughnecks victory on the 9th. Each of the remaining rounds will be treated the same way.
Further information on playoff tickets, or any other topic, can be obtained by calling (432) 332-PASS (7277) or by logging onto the team's website at www.RoughnecksNIFL.com
