Oakland Roots Renew NISA Rivalry Away in Detroit

Oakland Roots News Release
Match Preview: Oakland Roots return to the site of the clubs first finals appearance where they lost to the host team Detroit City FC 2-1 in the 2020 NISA Fall Championship game. Oakland return one player who played in that match, Johnny Rodriguez who scored the opening goal against Detroit that night in that final. Since that game in 2020 both clubs have joined the USL Championship and will face off for the first time in nearly two years. Tune into KTVU Plus as Oakland Roots return to the field for the first time in 17 days with kickoff set for 4:30 PM PT.
