Oakland Roots and American Express Partner to Launch "Town Business Tuesdays"

Oakland CA - Oakland Roots has partnered with American Express to launch Town Business Tuesdays to celebrate, elevate, and support local BIPOC and women-owned small businesses. Each Tuesday leading up to home games, together Roots and American Express will be featuring local BIPOC and women-owned businesses to help keep the community thriving.

"We're excited to launch Town Business Tuesdays with American Express," said Roots CMO and Co-founder Edreece Arghandiwal. "COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the City of Oakland, and elevating small businesses, which are the heart and soul of our economy, is a big part of Roots' purpose. We look forward to working alongside American Express to highlight and support local BIPOC and women-owned businesses, as their stories are what make The Town so special."
