Records: Real Monarchs (0-3-2, 2 points); Sacramento Republic FC (2-3-1, 7 points)

Head-to-Head: Real Monarchs have the advantage over Sacramento Republic FC with an all-time record of 6-2-5 in 13 matches played, including a 4-1-1 record and a plus six goal differential at home.

The previous match between the sides ended in an impressive 3-0 victory for Real Monarchs on October 19, 2019 in front of over 2,000 fans at Zions Bank Stadium.

Connections: Sacramento Republic FC Head Coach Mark Briggs formerly led the Real Monarchs prior to taking the reins for the Northern California club. Additionally, former Real Salt Lake and Monarchs' Assistant Coach Matt Glaeser is now the Assistant Head Coach and Director of Goalkeeping for Sacramento.

Notes: This will be the Monarchs' second time facing an opponent outside of the Mountain Division this season. The Monarchs are 49-25-20 all-time at home, while Sacramento Republic FC is 41-38-19 all-time on the road.
