The first place Modesto Nuts return to John Thurman Field tonight to begin a six-game homestand against Northern Division Rivals San Jose Giants and Stockton Ports. The Nuts currently have a 4-game lead over the second place Giants. Join us at John Thurman Field this week as the Nuts make their push for the playoffs. Tonight is another fireworks extravaganza at John Thurman Field presented by Krier's Cards and Comics and the United Way. Get to the park early and learn about all of the services provided by the United Way. Saturday is Jimmy Buffett Night presented by Gallo Family Vineyards. Enjoy discounted cheeseburgers and margaritas all night long. Gallo Family Vineyards will also be hosting free sampling throughout the evening. Game time on Friday and Saturday is 7:05 p.m. with the gates opening at 6:00 p.m.
Attention all kids club members! Our July baseball game is Sunday. Game starts at 6:05 p.m. and the gates open at 5:00 p.m. Present your membership card at the gate and receive a complimentary ticket. Remember, every Sunday is Catch on the Field Sunday with the Modesto Nuts. Bring your glove and have a catch with mom or dad on the field prior to the game!
