Nuts End First Half at John Thurman Field

Modesto Nuts News Release


The Nuts took two games of a 4-game series against the Bakersfield Blaze. With dominate pitching from starters Johendi Jiminian and Harrison Musgrave, the Nuts took the first two games of the series. The Nuts then lost a close game 5-4 on Saturday and were dominated 11-3 in yesterday's final game of the series. Raimel Tapia collected 7 hits in the series upping his season average to .305. Correlle Prime had a game deciding home run in game two which helped push the Nuts to victory.

Tonight the Nuts face off against the San Jose Giants to start game 1 of a 7-game homestand here at John Thurman Field. They will take on the Giants in a 3-game series and then finish the final four games of the first half against the High Desert Mavericks. A post-game fireworks show will take place at the conclusion of the game. Children ages 4-13 can run the bases at the end of the game.

Saturday, 6/20 @ 7:05 PM - Graffiti Night & Post Game Fireworks - Presented by Dust Bowl Brewing Company

Come out and take a look around our classic car display, have a root beer float, and enjoy the music that defined the era on this fun and exciting night. There will be post game fireworks at the conclusion of the game. Children ages 4-13 can run the bases at the end of the game.

Sunday, 6/21 @ 1:05 PM - Catch on the Field & Shelley's Birthday Bonanza - Presented by Stanislaus County Department of Child Support Services

Come celebrate Shelley's Birthday at John Thurman Field. Shelley is excited to see everyone come visit her for her very first birthday party! Children 4-13 can run the bases at the conclusion of the game.
