
Nuts Close Season with 8-7 Loss

Modesto Nuts News Release
Stockton, CA. - The Modesto Nuts fell 8-7 to the Stockton Ports in their final game of the 2015 season.
The Nuts (67-73; 34-26) took a six run lead but the Ports (74-66; 36-34) erased the deficit with seven unanswered runs in the sixth and seventh frames.
Dillon Thomas tied the game in the eighth with a RBI groundout. In the bottom of the ninth, Michael Benjamin, Jr. made an errant throw to first to allow the walk-off run to score.
Correlle Prime finished with two doubles. Raimel Tapia recorded a two-run double in the third.
Johendi Jiminian (L, 4-11) could not keep the game tied for the Nuts out of the bullpen. Joel Seddon (W, 8-8) tossed a perfect top of the ninth.
