
Notice of Revolution Schedule Changes

New England Revolution News Release
The New England Revolution's next MLS match will be on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. ET (TV - WB56) when the team hosts the Chicago Fire at Gillette Stadium. Please note, this is a change from the schedule originally published by the team.
When the schedule was first published, the New England Revolution was slated to host Chicago in Foxborough on Saturday, Aug. 19; the game was moved to accommodate the New England Patriots' preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals, which will be played on Saturday evening at Gillette Stadium.
In addition to the changes to this weekend's Revs match, please note the following three changes to the originally published schedule:
- The Revs will travel to play the Chicago Fire in the quarterfinal round of the 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 8:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at Toyota Park.
- The Revs' home match against the Columbus Crew originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 26, has been moved to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27 (TV - FSN). Prior to the Revs vs. Columbus match, Gillette Stadium will host the Jorge Fidalgo Memorial Soccer Challenge featuring the Cape Verdean All-Stars vs. the Brazilian All-Stars as part of a special doubleheader soccer event. This match will kick off at 4 p.m.
- The Revs' home date versus D.C. United, previously scheduled for Wednesday, July 26 in Foxborough, has been moved to 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 13 (TV - FSN).
